TREMBLAY
Laura Tremblay is essentially a jill of all trades – singer, songwriter, actor, writer, director and producer. She has an array of film and television roles to her credit, including The Expanse (Syfy/Space Channel), Ben-Hur (2016; Paramount Pictures), Fugue (Indiecan Entertainment), The Cocksure Lads (Spiral Entertainment) and many more. Tremblay also had a leading role in the highly-acclaimed touring stage production of Evil Dead: The Musical, joined the cast of Legally Blonde: The Musical at Stage West Calgary in the spring of 2018, and originated the leading role of “Lori” in the brand new musical Jukebox Hero at The Ed Mirvish Theatre in Toronto, ON in 2019.
With an intense creative energy and strong work ethic, Laura has made it her goal to create as much art as possible at all times. In July of 2016, Tremblay released her debut full-length album, titled "Lived It Well", a fabulous collection of songs that was recorded at Lincoln County Social Club in Toronto, ON and produced by Murray Foster, bassist of renowned Canadian band Great Big Sea. Tremblay has participated in the Artist on Board program hosted by VIA Rail Canada, and has performed at venues in select cities across Canada, including Toronto, Winnipeg, Jasper, Vancouver, Calgary and more. Laura also supported her album release with multiple scheduled television appearances and a radio tour.
On the film side of her passions, Tremblay created Lucky Dime Films in 2016, a production company geared towards making films on small budgets. Her first ever produced short film, Menses, has over 55,000 views on YouTube and was an official selection of the Toronto International Short Film Festival.
